I personally find it amazing how some people counter attacks on christianity, the either quote the holy book (which us on the other end of the argument don't really care about) or else they call us stupid.  Many stories in that book have some underlieing point to them, but many religious folk interpret them literally and really just miss the point.  I personally think that the bible should simply be used as something to help guide us in how we treat each other rather than a prophecy that says we will pay the price if we question it.
