Darwin:
Religion is a virus on mankind that draws it's
power from the ultimate intimidation: The endless threat of going to
hell if you don't submit or physical punishment such as family banishment,
delimberment, or worse.
I wish the earth would get hit by another 6-mile
wide meteor soon so that the few survivors
will think twice about believing all that crap!!
I am amused at one argument of many religious
zealots: That athiests can't see the forest for the
trees.
I would argue they cannot and will not see the
world as it is because they are blinded by all of the virus which is
religion. And like any virus, it's self-replicating and intrusive of the
original body (trying to force it's own DNA structure on the cell). It's a
sickness, nothing more.
It will pass someday or we will perish from this
earth.
