No, it's not a serious debate.  The question is just another dig at the ill thought-out concept of God.

Hello Darwin.  My name is Shaun and I came across this site as I was in the process of looking for a domain name.  I have a site already up which is dedicated to my line of business (engineering) and was going to put one up regarding the spiritual.  Anyway, I saw your question here and thought I might throw some ideas your way.

Question : "How long a time was God around before he got the idea to create the universe?"

This question already factors in a number of presumptions one of which your readers have already been constrained to avoid using by the disclaimer "Everything said in the context of God being real is mere nonsense"

The questions already assumes that God exists as it puts him at the center of the creative act . . .

I can be somewhat thick at times so please tell me if this is a serious debate.

Later Compadre.
