How are you?  I have no idea why, but God reminds me of you regularly.  He
loves you more than you can possibly imagine.  Contrary
to what your website says, God is not the author of evil.  He gets blamed
for the evil things men and women do and Satan does, but
God is completely good.  What it appears you may have a hangup with is free
will.  Because God gave us free will, we make a lot of
bad decisions, and out of those bad decisions, a lot of people get hurt.
For example, more than 40 million babies have been murdered
in this country in the name of "choice" by the mother.  God has said
specifically in His word that He "hates hands that shed innocent
blood."  What could be more innocent than a baby in the womb of its mother.
God didn't ordain abortion.  Man did.  Nevertheless,
an entire generation of children has been slaughtered in the name of
"choice".  God hates divorce, but we do it.  God hates adultery,
but we do it.  God hates lying, but we lie.  I could go on and on.  Unless
He was willing to settle for pre-programmed robots, God had
to give us free will.  We get to choose, and from the choices we make, we
can either create a good or evil world.  Unfortunately, we
have made a lot of bad choices, and there is a lot of evil in the world as a
result.  That's not God's fault.  It's ours.  If you want to read
a book that will help put all this in perspective, read C.S. Lewis's book,
Mere Christianity.  You get to choose about this too.  You
can choose to continue to believe the lie that God is evil, and the result
will be misery in this life and eternal separation from God in
the next.  On the other hand, you can choose to learn the truth about God,
and give Him control over your life.  That would be the
smartest decision you ever made in your live.  I've been a rebel, and it's
really not much fun.  My relationship with Jesus Christ is the
most wonderful thing in my life.  I wouldn't trade my relationship with Him
for anything or anyone in the world.  He's wonderful.  You
don't know what you're missing.
