Film Production Status
Grass Roots Guerilla Marketing
Music Submitted to be used in our Film

FILM PRODUCTION STATUS
After 7 focus group screenings where our numbers
have now topped out, we finished the final edit
of HEART of the BEHOLDER.
BEHOLDER is currently in post production for
conversion to High Definition, color correction,
titling, special effects, sound mixing, and final
music.
It is scheduled to be totally complete by Friday,
Jan. 5, 2005, just in time for the beginning of
the film festival year.
So far we have submitted to the Sundance, Palm
Springs, Miami, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and
Tribeca film festivals. Toronto, Telluride, Berlin,
and the Cannes film festivals will follow as their
submission dates comes due.
As we are notified that we have been selected for
a film festival, the news will be posted on our
corporate website - River City Entertainment at

GRASS ROOTS GUERILLA MARKETING
BEHOLDER has been an 11 year grass roots
passion project that has almost reached its final
destination. What we need now is to build a grass
roots buzz that will hopefully get the attention
of film festival programmers.
PLEASE consider helping us by forwarding info about
our film to people who are PASSIONATE about Gay,
Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender rights,
Women's reproductive rights, First Amendment
censorship rights, or just about anything else
that pisses off the religious right.
Journalists who share our vision can certainly help.
Specific things that you can do raise our profile
are:
1. Go to our movie page at the Internet Movie
Database. This will raise our profile and hopefully
generate some press attention. Go to the address
below as much as you can and hit refresh. Their
counter will move our profile up the list.

MUSIC SUBMITTED TO BE USED IN OUR FILM
First of all, THANK YOU for the thousands of
submissions we received. Our music supervisor,
Peter Rafelson has had years in the music business.
His father created the Monkees as well as directed
top movies such as "Five Easy Pieces".
Peter is an award-winning producer and composer who
wrote and produced Madonna's hit song "Open Your
Heart".
Four songs have been chosen so far -
"Draw the Line" and "Power of the Lord" by
Nikki Hornsby
"AF" by the band SHUT UP MARIE
"HEART of the BEHOLDER" by Angie Monroe and
Michael Colby.
These songs were easy to pick because they fit
perfectly in certain scenes. We will pick others
as soon as we can.
If you have not been contacted by December 15,
then we couldn't find a spot for your song in
the film.
However, if we do have an CD for the film, we will
use songs we liked and you may be contacted then.
