Dear Mr. Bedford,

While researching information for a social studies project, I stumbled onto your site, and read your rather caustic review of Christianity. It seems you enjoy being an atheist just as much as I enjoy being a Roman Catholic. However, since you are asking for feedback, I though I'd help you.

Jesus Christ is what I like to call an avatar. He represents God like no as an almost equal. He has God given power, and is able to commune with the divine, as well as being able to converse with the Devil. What truly distinguishes Him from other great men such as Moses and Muhammad, is that Jesus was conceived from the Holy Spirit, through God's will. The reason God only sent one Son is simple common sense. If there were fifty Jesus', the true uniqueness would be lost, as well as the depth of the sacrifice, as well as charlatans having a much easier time of claiming to be Jesus. When we understand Jesus is God's only Son, we realize God will only send us one man made from the union of the Holy Spirit, and flesh.

I found that while reading, you seem very skeptical about the existence of the human soul. While Christians are certainly a minority in the human race, you sir, are one of small percentage of people that absolutely do not believe in an afterlife. You call on 'thinkers' to rise triumphantly from the darkness of obscurity, yet rise to what? Besides denouncing a religion, what do you really gain? I suppose if no one has a religion, it might be easier to get away with amoral viscitudes. Lying? Divorce? Rape? General apathy toward mankind? I don't understand your version of utopia. I don't understand your viscous portrayal of a Church that is indeed, ailing. I don't understand your then contradictory statements about the Church's powerful(?) evil(?). But maybe it's you again that need's explanations. Christianity can be broken down into one simple command: "Love one another." Forget everything else, like the pope, and Sunday mass. I ask you, Mr. Bedford, what can atheism be broken down to? All that comes to mind perhaps, is "Life's a bitch and then you die."

Finally, I know you can be helped. By going through all this remarkable effort to create this site, you are in fact reaching out. I believe you are reaching out to others for salvation. I'm not asking you to get baptized, or circumcised, or anointed. All I'm asking is you put aside your hate, and help your family, help your friends, help your fellow man. I'll be doing it. What do you really have to lose?
