Greetings:
It seems to me terribly unfortunate that the atheist Messiah does
not quite understand what he is so strongly against. I wish than to
enlighten you.
First what you need to understand about Jesus' being Gods only
begotten son is this: It is not that he cannot make another (or billions, or
ioata's etc) but that Jesus is hardly a son at all. Jesus is God (the God
the Son part) and that his title of "son" merely exist to help humans
comprehend.
God is supreme, Jesus is supreme and the Holy Spirit is supreme and they
(he) creates us, no part of the trinity (Father, son and Holy Spirit) has been
created it has always been.
Secondly your unfortunate inability to grasp the concept that
God exist outside of time. Why you might ask is this important? I shall
tell thee.
For God since there is no time everything has happend, is happening and is
going to happen, understand, there (and allow me to use a reference of time) is
an ever present now, that combines the past, present and the future into
one. So what does this mean, what it means is that whence someone dies,
that is come from whence they came, they do not meet him for "half one second"
but sometime much longer than that (How long nobody knows but longer than "half
a second" I assure thee).
Thirdly God's inherent LACK of insensitivity. You
say that "but not for two thousand years has Jesus returned!" and that "God is
insensitive...". The problem with this statement is this: To make
such a statement would be to say that once someone dies they go to Hell because
they have not lived long enough to see the return of the Christ and therefore
they are not good enough for God and must reside in Hell forever.
But this is not the case, because of the existence of Heaven (a place that
those who do believe in Jesus and God reside) a place in perfect commune with
God, a place of blissfullness and joy etc., it would seem that by letting them
die he is actually doing them a favour and is being MORE sensitive to his
creatures that not. Now do not be confused I am not saying that Earth is a
place of freakish misery where he sends us so that "[he] can kill us for [his]
sport"(Shakespeare) but he allows us to live here giving us the gift of life and
the gift of Free choice.
Finally in regards to religion becoming passe and 'the old way
of thinking' and that it is "falling apart at the seems" and since "congregation
counts are falling" that what the Bible says some how losses its truth.
Let me address this: Truth sir is not subjective, what people view as subjective
truth is merely preception. Truth Sir exists above those who believe in
it, it has to, truth is not truth unless it is absolute.
Where am I going with this? here, even if only 3 people in the world next
year follow the teaching's of Jesus, that will make (his teachings) no less true
and will not reduce the need for you to believe in them.
Farewell to thee.
