Your article is both entertaining and mostly accurate, meaning that the "Believers" as you call them are fed a line from birth and cannot see past it.

However, you frequently refer to religion as whole, but you are really talking about Christian-based religions (including Catholic.) Your argument does not apply to the numerous other religions that play only supporting roles in North America and western Europe, like Judaism, Hinduism etc.  The difference between "religion" and "Christianity" may be minor to someone brought up surrounded by Christianity but it is certainly important to the rest of us.
