    Im a catholic and I have no problem with you beign an atheist my belief is to each his own.  You have just insulted and made light of peoples beliefs what they feel in their heart and mind to be true, and you have done this by not even beign factual or true to what the Bible actually says.  This brings a question to my mind if you have ever looked at the Bible or if you are just ranting about things you have heard and never actually researched. 
 
         What you said about the Bible is untrue there are four major books to the new testament each written by an apostle which can be dated back nearly two thousands years because of the discovery of the dead sea scrolls which were authenticated by scientists.
 
       Secondly about God creating everything this is also untrue God created Man and Woman and gave them each free will and it is man who creates from their God has no part in what man does because Man and Woman will awnser to God in the end.  God did not create the Devil or Hell the Devil was a fallen angel named Lucifer who challenged the power of God and wanted to control and have power like God and for this was sent to rule over the dead sinners in hell.
 
        The after life is eternal and not all of those who die go to heaven some purgatory to release their sin to bve allowed to heaven and some with deadly sin go to hell never to meet God. The life after in the Kingdom of heaven will last much after this life on earth is gone which allows plenty of time to meet the Maker in heaven.
 
        If you read in the Bible it tells that the life after is timeless and that a thousand days may feel like one day to God so infact God may just want to wait a week or so.
 
        Maybe with the age of the Pope the church has fallen out of times but to say that it is plumeting to an end is ridicullous when there are still fights and wars over beliefs and religion because peoples ties with each are so strong that they do not want to loose their religion. When there are new churches opening in Japan and China where Catholisism has never been practised I say that religion is meening more to people now than it has in the last 30 years.
       
        So if you want to rant and rave because of youre beliefs or lack of them by all means go ahead.  But dont ever mock someone elses beliefs and in youre attempts to downplay the Bible and religion make sure you know the facts and get them right and also make sure you sound logical or you will just continue to make yourself look like an idiot like you have in youre letter.

You're the dumb ass.  You just gave me more ammunition to point out the ridiculousness of the story.

And it takes two people, by the way, to meet.  Yes, one has plenty of time in Heaven to meet the maker (if there were a Heaven) but if your maker can only spend an average of half of one second per soul then probably you won't be spending much time with him.

Ya right!  Blame it on the Pope's old age for the decline in church attendance.  I will pass that along to him.

If the discovery of the dead sea scrolls which were authenticated by scientists, then the scientists must have been Christian Scientists.

Besides the time warp, what else will be different in Heaven?  Please tell me -- you know-it-all.
