Don't underestimate the power of a supreme entity or
"God". I was baptised an Anglican, but was never forced to attend church
on a regular basis as my parents believed I should be free to choose my own
faith as I became older. When I was born my parents were young
and baptised me under tradition and family pressure. Essentially, I
developed my own system of faith under what I have learned for myself
and what has become comfortable for me. I must tell you
that I have found the article on your webpage very believable and to-the
point. On the other hand, I've got to say that I have experienced in my
own life events that I would not count as miracles, but definately as
interventions from a higher power. I won't go into details, but suffice it
to say that under some situations I am here to write this note to you when I
should be dead, and that I have seen visions that have made me believe.
Please believe me when I say these circumstances were not luck or
coincidence. I have always believed that the bible was created to
keeep the masses in line several hundred years ago and has lost a lot of
relevance in this day and age; one cannot take what it says
verbatim. I'm just saying that the bible is not the end-all and
say-all. There is a lot of stuff out there that cannot be explained and
can't be chalked up to coincidence or superstition. Don't disregard
someones belief system just because you don't believe yourself - there's a lot
of weird stuff out there that can't be explained or can't be believed until you
see it with your own eyes. When it happens to you, you'll know - and then
you may change your tune. Take it for what it's worth.
