Darwin:

First off, I want to say that it really pisses me off when God-

fearing people send spiteful letters to you, either trying to get you

to join their faith, or convince you that we are going to "Hell."  If

they can believe what they want freely, why can't we?  We don't try

to convert them to Atheism, do we?

Secondly, I just want to say that sadly, I once was a God-fearing

person...until I looked in the Bible that is.  I saw the most

retarded things there; women being unclean after menstuation, and

anyone who touches her or her bed (?) is unclean, whatever the hell

unclean means.  So then, I lost most of my faith and slipped down in

to Agnosticism.  I thought that "God" may exist, but probably

didn't.  Then I thought about the concept of "God" for a while and

looked through the Bible some more, marveling at how stupid it is. 

Then I realized that there is no proof of the existance of "God" or

anything that has to do with "Him".  So, I lost all faith and slipped

into Atheism, and I have to say that I have not been happier, finally

knowing who I am.  Now, I admit that one of my closest friends is a

Christian, but she respects my beliefs, so I respect hers.  Other

than her, two of my other friends are Agnostics, and my best friend

is also an Atheist (I'll tell her about your site, which is really

cool, by the way).
