Hi there:
I was looking for weather-office but re-directed to
your website. I thought you should learn more about
bible and god.
1. You stil think that god is a "person" that gives
order and do action whatever you want. This explains
why people do not believe in god anymore. They often
ask, if I do what he says, why I am still suffering?
God is actually everything: actions, things (including
you), time, and events. This explains that god knows
everything, god is angry / happy, honest people
suffer, wars, etc. Jesus is the manifestation of god
in the world, this part you understand.
2. The idea of immaculate conception of Jesus is not
new at all. Read Mahabaratha and the born of the
Pandawas (plus Karna). Also the Native Americans'
belief. The idea is that Jesus was born in a "pure"
environment. Having sex is not the point at all. The
first son was important for ancient people.
Sacrificing him would be something ordinary. Whether
god or Jesus have second sons or brothers / sisters
are not the point at all.
3. Bible never says that Jesus found a religion. He
only asks you to believe in him, i.e. do what he says
(love your neighbours, pray for god, eternal life,
etc.). The ancient church was a community where people
helped each other. Today church (= Christianity) is
different and more political. It is too bad, I agree,
but it does not mean that Jesus messages are no longer
valid.
4. Heaven and hell are natural that must happen, as
you cannot create or destroy things (including soul).
This is different from Buddist's belief in Nirvana
(complete absence). The judgement to go to either
place is determined by god (= yourself). When you
live, you are soul + flesh, the latter "blinds" your
mind (about right or wrong, etc). After you die, you
only have soul which knows absolute right and wrong.
You may become dissapointed with what you did when you
lived. This condition is called "hell" and may last
foerever. Some believe in reincarnation, meaning going
back to earth to do the rigth things. Christianity
does not say that, although Jesus actually
reincarnated or manifested, whatever. I believe that
you have options to reincarnate or not. Buddists
believe that you will reincarnate until you reach
Nirvana (not heaven).
5. Understanding god is very easy, just think why you
still live today, or your career /education? Consider
so many uncertanties including inside your body's
system. You have to make efforts, I agree, but there
are so many things you cannot control. You don't have
to be affiliated in one religion (especially if you
don't like playing politics), but it does not make
sense if you don't believe in god. Unless, you don't
believe in the "wrong" god as I pointed in no.1.
Would you like to response?
