Dear Darwin,
I found your site on accident, but I am glad I did.
I can understand how your ideas and conclusions came to be. It is sad
how
many christians have not searched or questioned thier own faith. They go
by
what they were taught and that's all they have. I was like that a year
ago.
I knew bits and pieces of the Bible and most of what I thought was
twisted.
When I read your site most of what you wrote is what I believed.
Fourteen
months ago I started searching for truth. I didn't want to believe or
not
believe anything just because my family or friends did. I wanted
proof.
I started to read a book called "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel.
He
was in the same position I was in. His wife became a christian and he
wanted to prove the Bible wrong. He went to fourteen different doctors
that
had spent most of thier lives studying parts of the Bible. He asked
very
serious questions about the Bible and argued with them. He takes nothing
on
empty belief.
You have invested a lot of energy into your belief (that there is no
god).
I respect your passion, Now please take it a step farther and read
this
book so you will have more knowledge in both sides.
Thank you
P.S. There are days when it's hard to believe in God, there are other
days
when it is imposible not to.
