Then I read your essay on The Pope, and I loved
it. I totally am in agreement with your take on the bible (as reported to
you) and firmly believe that the organized Christian religion has overstayed
it's usefulness (who needs the Church when you have the Academy
Awards?)
Our society has gone over the wall in terms of
dealing with itself, which is why we are seeing the huge rise in yoga,
naturopathy, health food, herbal supplements, etc. - this is the new
spirituality, because Jesus isn't relevant. It's all marketing, and the
Church doesn't get it.
I didn't mean to get all sanctimonious, but you
know, it happens. Loved your site, and I hope you update frequently,
because I am often randomly looking for "assgasm" on the Internet, and would be
