Hey I understand where you are comming from. I used to feel as you do,

but then I found out that I had been lied to, manipulated and coerced in

the direction of mans doctrine for the purpose of filling the pockets of

the clergy.  I discovered some very naked truths that shocked me to the

very core. I was not immediately convinced that what I had discovered

was trustworthy. But when it was proven to me bibically that God did not

created the world in six literal days (which we know is definately

impossible) that he actually did  not send his only son (which is a very

stupid suggestion in the first place) and that he did not created satan

(satan and devil meaning a liar or a slanderer) I was very interested to

find out, what exactly really went on? I mean just the mention of a

eternal firey hell made my blood boil. I could not imagine that a God of

love would be so cold blooded and if he were, I wanted no part of him.

Can you imagine putting your childs hand over a hot stove just because

he made a mistake or was imperfect? This would not be a God that I would

want. Then I found out that the bible actually does not teach a hell

fire doctrine that the word hell comes from the greek word

hades,gehenna, or sheol which all mean the common grave and that when

the Israelites delivered up their children to the god molech which was

an iron god with a furnace at the botton where the children where

sacrificed, God was actually very angry and said that this was a

"detestable thing". Well let me tell you the story was either,

1. A. very interesting interpretation

2. Facts backed up by historians and theologians

2. Another pile of crap that is fed to the innocent who is gullable

enought to sit and listen.
