Nice site.

Why not go on a socio/political/religeous rant while domain squatting.
Well its about 1000 times more interesting than all the other domain
squatting flash pages I've seen.

It seems to have inspired quite a bit of creative output even in those
people who claim to despise domain squatting. Funny. And I don't mean
funny 'haha' or funny 'strange' -- I mean funny 'predictable'.

Actually a nicely written piece.

The only points you were making, I guess, is to unentrench religion from
politics (separation of church and State is a good, health policy for
both parties involved). Taxation of real estate and recognition in the
pre-amble of the Canadian constitution.

I totally agree with the strangeness of the recognition of God as an
entity (though I am not sure this is strictly the case) in the
constitution of a country, especially one that demonstrates religeous
tolerance and freedom the beautiful way that Canada does. I would
suspect that all the non-god fearing reliegions (buddhists, hindus,
etc.) would expect equality under the law and would feel discomfort with
the recognition of the 'Christian God'* as a central political entity.
Of course, entire countries historically built their political
credibility out of religeous fear in the past (divine right of kings --
most/all dynasties seem to claim divine support).

* begs the question, and of course would presume the exisitance of
'God', that do all monotheistic religeons actually worship the same
entity? How much of an entity is this guy, really, assuming that he
'exists'? And if his existance is somehow outside of the physical
universe (noting here, Billy, that wind can be very much explained
within the physical universe), doesn't that definition mean he doesn't
exist? (ie: outside of the physical universe = not existing). These
ideas are just fun mental gymnastics and stretching, however.

I think it is ironic than many of the religeos zealots who have
argued/discussed/threatened on this site have denied themselves very
much what they were looking for -- rational spiritual inquiry. Instead
they found some easy answers in a old, though popular book.

In this case, spiritual means something like 'philosophy of creation and
consciousness'.

Good work on the 45 minute 10k.
