I came across your web-site by accident and was both

troubled and saddened.  The first reason was the

injustices you have felt at the hands of those

professing to be Christians.  I don't know your

circumstances but you have obviously had horrible

experiences and I apologize for any mistreatment by

those who did so in the name of Jesus, I have

experienced hurt by the same type of people.  However,

I would argue that the reason why Christianity has

spread is because of its message, that being Grace.

Don't compare what the "Christian Church" of today or

the past has done to what it was originally created

for.  The church is full of imperfect people who make

mistakes just like everyone else, injustices can be

found everwhere including the church.  Satan revels in

the thought of smearing the Christian faith and has

done so through the help of many Christians who let

him do it through their lives.  But the church Jesus

founded in the Bible and the one I found was one where

people who were hurting and in need flocked.  It was a

place where the down and out fled and towards Jesus at

the center, not away from him or his church.  The

worse a person felt about themselves, the more likely

they would see Jesus as a refuge.  The Christian faith

is not based on judging or conformity it is on one

simple word that being Grace.  This is the life

changing word that has affected my life, it doesn't

make me better than anyone but it does make me want to

share it, offensive or not I have to because of its

affect on me.
